台鐵「新太魯閣Hello Kitty彩繪列車」今天首航，車廂內裝均可見Hello Kitty圖案，下午列車停靠花蓮站後，有乘客發現許多座椅的枕巾不翼而飛，台鐵呼籲民眾愛惜公物。
彩繪列車車廂內裝、手推車、枕巾處處可見Hello Kitty可愛模樣，印製精美的枕巾醒目地披在椅背上，但有些座椅卻空蕩蕩不見枕巾。
列車長鄭育宜指出，台北至台東一趟下來已不見數十條枕巾，這是屬於台鐵公物，請旅客發揮公德心，不要隨意帶走。
台鐵花蓮運務段長張建曆說，枕巾是為首航特別設計，限量製作，乘客可能是覺得非常可愛，帶回去紀念；未來會加強宣導，盼乘客愛惜公物。
台鐵規劃Hello Kitty彩繪列車行駛東部幹線，有不少Hello Kitty迷開心搶搭，但也有民眾表示，未來在周五、周六及周日這種熱門時段增加一班彩繪列車，恐怕會造成更多人搶票，對花東民眾一票難求問題沒有幫助。
